The long wait is over for LinkedIn users. Finally, LinkedIn has added the now famous “at” symbol as part of it’s standard functionality to mention someone in a post.
As Twitter and Facebook has done for many years (even Google+ has it), LinkedIn has joined the party and now allows the use of the “at” symbol in its status update section. This means users can now mention the names of people, groups or companies they would like to include in their status update and similar to the other social networking sites that already use LinkedIn, anyone added in this way will also get a notification.
On LinkedIn, the way to use the at symbol (above the 2 on your keyboard) is exactly the same way you use it on Twitter or Facebook. Read More LinkedIn Now Utilizes the At Image to say Other people inside a Publish
